If you were at the recent Logies, you would have seen this threesome of success. Hamish and Andy were seen hanging out with local Sunshine Coast girl, Rachel Bermingham. Even though Rachel has 3 boys of her own, she still found some time to spend with these “boys” who were clearly captivated by Rachel’s charm and smile. Rachel is the best selling author of 8 books, and is the director of Bermingham Books. If you’ve heard of the books or TV show about 4 ingredients....well, that’s Rachel. THE TIME MACHINE
Boys and their toys!
If it’s not the above H.G. Wells version of a time machine, or the DeLorean version from “Back to the Future” then it could be The Time Machine at 101 Currie St. Nambour, if you want to visit the past. Here you will be treated to items dating back a long way. Lots of memorabilia and collectables. You can come just for a look at some of the amazing old magazines and comics or check out some local art. Kids will love this place. There’s a great coffee shop (DL Coffee) 2 doors up if you need breakfast, lunch or a coffee break.
Looking to the future, the 3 local boys who recently bought the business have great plans for it. There will be lots of NEW collectables, vynal records, comics, local art and more vintage clothing. There are many rooms at this store, mostly downstairs and there is an area where a sound studio is planned and more space for an art gallery. If you have been there before, you will be impressed by how much work the boys have put in already. The official launch of the shop is anticipated to be 1 & 2 June.
