Well. I just booked our little holiday.

I did a bit of research before I contacted Amy at Flight Centre, Currimundi. I checked flight costs with Virgin and Jetstar and “googled" many hotels in the place we wanted to go. 
No way could Flight Centre do better than what I had found. 
Anyway, I emailed Amy and told her what I was after. It wasn’t long and she emailed me back with hotel options and flight details according to what I had requested. 
Flights were with Virgin Blue - awesome! 
I "googled" the hotels to check on reviews that people had given them, and made our choice. The price quoted by Amy saved us hundreds of dollars. I could have paid online and had everything emailed or posted to me, but I chose to go in for a face to face. 
When I got to Flight Centre in Currimundi, I was warmly greeted by Lauren and she finalised my details while I waited for Amy. I arranged for travel insurance as well, paid the bill, and left happy, knowing that I had the "deal of the century” (for me, anyway). 

What a nice bunch of people.
